I've never heard o...Your dinner sounds divine. I've never heard of Maqluba--but wow, it'd be something I know I'd love. And I've never eaten Persian lamb, but I love Persian food. When we lived in middle TN there was a Persian women who left Iran after the fall of the Shah many years back. She opened a Persian restaurant. The afternoon offering was always served buffet style and it was exquisite. Even the butter was hand churned. The name "Persia" makes me think of beautiful gardens and figs and feasts and ancient worlds and history.<br /><br />It's so nice to hear how well your new job is going too. It sounds like it is will be an exciting adventure for you. Who knew...not that long ago you were so disappointed losing your library posts. Now this.
